Dry Hire is the industry term for the 'unmanned' hire of equipment, meaning that you hire equipment without any sort of engineering assistance. You are responsible for the collection of equipment as well as returning it to us at the end of the hire period. If necessary we can arrange to deliver to you and collect at the end of the hire period for an agreed fee which will be based on mileage.
If you want to Dry Hire, we advise you to ensure that you have the ability to competently operate the equipment. There is no point in hiring a complex mixing desk if you have little knowledge of how to get the best from it - you could end up spending hours figuring out how to make it work! If you have reasonable technical skills though, Dry Hire provides a very economical method of adding expensive equipment to your production that you may otherwise not be able to afford. We do of course provide dry hire on items as basic as microphones, stands and cables.
We own a considerable stock of high quality condenser mics and a comprehensive range of processing available for dry hire that contains products from all the major manufacturers.
